How do I convince my boyfriend to have a white wedding?

Tell him most people spend more on a car, or mortgage, or even a honeymoon and that 3 thousand dollars is hardly expensive in the sense of a wedding, and that it will be sweet, and intimate, and comfortable. And wonderful. If that doesn't work talk to his friends in private and ask them for help. Have them say things like "that is a great price for a wedding" "its gonna be so much fun!!" That should help. If not, then sit down and tell him, if he wont do your wedding, then you can't see your self doing a JP wedding. and that he has to compromise.
