Is making homemade explosive devices illegal?

ok. i live in the Woodlands, Texas. i have made various explosive devices, but i always take extreme caution when making and detonation them. my favorite, is simply a cannon, filled with black powder and bb's, that i detonate at soda cans. today, i made an explosive device, and blew apart a mini fridge. i made it very safely, and used very little explosives. i have never once harmed private property, and i carefully plan the outcome of any explosive device before i detonate it, just to be sure i will not harm any living thing, or private property. so far i have been correct with everything iv made. some are very loud, and you can check some of the videos out on my channel on youtube thecatofwisdom. i just want to be sure i cant get arrested or fined for any explosive device. p.s. i do not make excessively powerful explosives. i use only the minimal amount of explosives for what im trying to accomplish.
