How is it possible that not only are the Pirates perennially awful but even their farm system stinks?

Rudy Owens, Jeff Locke, Justin Wilson, Bryan Morris, Jameson Taillon, and Stetson Allie are all very promising pitchers. In fact, I think we can see Owens, Locke, and Wilson this year. I think Rudy Owens was named the Pirates Minor League Pitcher of the Year the past two years. As far as other promising prospects go, Alex Presley is one that came out of no where last year, and Tony Sanchez is another one, but we won't see him for like another two years. Other promising prospects include Starling Marte, Chase D'Arnaud, Andrew Lambo, Tim Alderson, and Gorkys Hernandez.
