Do liberals just have an ingrained sense of entitlement or is it more of a mental disorder?

I think they attempt to make a better improvement for some that cannot provide for themselves off the hard working backs of others. This still doesn't explain why the politicians fell they should help themselves to a bigger piece of the pie than everyone.
