I'm looking for the title of as somewhat 'cheesy' ballad (possibly french).?

The song in question has a decidedly french sound that I would equate with having a luncheon on the gr in Paris, or a french artist with a beret and paintbrush in hand. I'm not sure I'd call it a romantic ballad, but it certainly has that flavor. I've heard it in tons of TV commercials and it's chorus and/or refrain is a simple 'la la la la la...la la la la la...la la la' that repeats. Does anyone know it's title and/or composer?
