What do you think about blm catching wild mustangs?

Everyone has had really good answers so far! I am 100% in favor of catching the wild mustangs. These horses are not far removed from your other "domesticated" horses, because they once were domesticated horses. That is why people do adopt them and train them, and they are often stunning, hardworking animals. Domestication takes hundreds and hundreds of generations to really tame down horses (or any domestic animal). While, yes these horses are "wild" now they are not anywhere near as wild as their ancient UN-domesticated ancestors. So, to me taming them is bringing them back to their nature. I think the wild mustangs are beautiful creatures, and I wish them no harm, but taming a majority of them is not harming them in anyway. I am also in favor of gelding the majority of stallions and either taking them to be adopted or setting them back loose. This could keep the population down, so we wouldn't have 10,000 extra mustangs to find homes for.
