Why harleys ride in groups, 2 = ok to go, not likin it, 6 = feelin good, with 1 being a mechanical = estatic?

Why cant Harley riders go solo and enjoy the freedom as well as metric riders do, we lost a good friend to harley ownership, never would of believed it but he is it and now stays near home. bar cruisin is his deal now.
