How do I get rid of a spider in my garage?

I don't want to kill it, but I would like to move it out of my garage. The little dude has gotten pretty big over the last few weeks, and he only comes a little way out of the crevice he has taken to be his home (I call it a 'he' because I pray that it is not a female).
